BHC Launches Transformer Multi-Functional Floor Finishes
Indianapolis, Indiana – October 9, 2017
In Commercial Floor Care there is an increasing emphasis on labor reduction that has been driving the demand for what was once referred to as a dry-bright type finish. A dry-bright finish means just that – a floor finish that dries to a high gloss (bright) after initial application of recommended coats. It may be buffed or burnished, but is not required for initial gloss.
BHC is excited to bring our Transformer Floor Finishes to market to meet that need. Based on a new polymer/resin formulation, we have three dry-bright finishes – Transformer 25, Transformer 22, Transformer 16. Each finish is multi-functional for use in any program, at any maintenance frequency, with any equipment, on any type of floor. The products are named based on solids content. A key market advantage is that Transformer floor finishes are designed to meet or beat competitive price points.
“This new combination of raw materials has produced the finest multi-functional floor finish on the market at a cost that will re-establish profit margins for our distributors.” said George Brodnicki, BHC’s Commercial & Floor Care Business Development Manager. “Our tests have proven the versatility of these products and the initial gloss is outstanding.”
Transformer Floor Finishes will be the product of choice for schools, hospitals, grocery store and commercial buildings. The products will fit into a variety of maintenance programs from daily burnishing to no burnishing at all. Their super gloss, black mark and scuff resistance and durability are sure to reduce labor and chemical usage.
