Cleaning Ranges For Spray Wash Systems
- System: Spray Wash Systems (Batch or Continuous)
- Dilution Rate: 3-10%, typically used at 4%. Minimum recommended concentration for cleaning aluminum is 5%.
- Temperature: 120-180°F (49-82°C); typically used at 140-150°F (60-66°C)
- Cleaning Duration: 1-30 minutes; typically parts are clean in 1-5 minutes.
Cleaning Ranges For Immersion Parts Washers
- System: Immersion with Significant Agitation
- Dilution Rate: 3-20%, typically used at 5-10%. Minimum recommended concentration for cleaning aluminum is 5%.
- Temperature: 120-180°F (49-82°C); typically used at 140-150°F (60-66°C)
- Cleaning Duration: 1-30 minutes; typically parts are clean in 1-5 minutes.
AquaVantage® 3887 GD Usage Directions

Process cleaning systems should be cleaned prior to introduction of AquaVantage® 3887 GD. Contact a Brulin parts cleaning representative for specific use-case guidelines about the rinse process, drying process, and for information and cleaning recommendations.
- Add AquaVantage® 3887 GD to solution tank filled with hot or cold water using the dilution rate for your system.
- Mix solution thoroughly. To avoid excess foam, heat the solution above 120ºF before turning on the sprayer.
- Heat solution to specified temperature for your cleaning system.
- Wash or immerse parts until soil is removed.
- Remove parts from tank.
- Rinse with water. Recommended conductivity of final rinse water:
- Ultra-Clean Applications: ≤ 50 microsiemens
- Precision Cleaning: ≤ 500 microsiemens
- Gross Cleaning: > 500 microsiemens
- Dry parts.
- To avoid spotting, it is best if the parts remain wet between processing stages.
- Extended corrosion protection can be achieved with Brulin corrosion inhibitors.
